Saturday Camps

Beginning this week, Chess Mates will be holding camps every Saturday from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. The price is $55 for members, $60 for non-members. Lunch and a snack is included. Those registering 4 days in advance will receive a $5 discount.

Weekend Wrap-Up

Arthur Macaspac won our Saturday G/45. Maurico Camejo was 2nd.

GM Leonid Yudasin won yesterday's Open G/30. Errol Singh was the runner-up.

Karandeep Singh won the Scholastic G/30 ahead of Kapil Kanakaraj and Rameek Singh.

Sunday G/30 Results

14 players took part in yesterday's G/30. Justin Sarkar won section 1 by beating GM Leonid Yudasin in the final round. Sam Barsky and Errol Singh tied for first in section 2. Karandeep Singh was section 3's winner.

Camejo Wins Saturday G/45

Maurico Camejo won Saturday's G/45 with a 3-0 score.

Wednesday Tourney Update

In Round 3 of our Wednesday G/90, on Jan. 18th, Ziggy Bliznikas defeated Ian Mangion. The game between Arthur Macaspac and Doran Race was postponed.

Sunday Camp

Chess Mates will be running its Sunday Camp & Quads from 10 a.m-6 p.m. today.



Camp: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
Scholastic Quads: 3-6 p.m.
Fee: $80 members, $90 non-members
Lunch, snacks & entry to the quads included.

In Round 2 of our Wednesday G/90, Arthur Macaspac and Ian Mangion played to a draw while Doran Race defeated Ziggy Bliznikas.

Round 3 will see Ziggy vs. Ian and Doran vs. Arthur (colors to be determined by toss).
