Yesterday's tournament at Chess Mates, which was won by King Arthur Curry, was submitted for rating but there was a problem on the USCF's end.

It may take 2-3 days for the event to appear online.

We have canceled the blitz tournament scheduled for Saturday 2/27 & will be running a 3-round, G/60 Swiss in its place.

Chess Mates Closed Tomorrow

Chess Mates has canceled tomorrow's classes and will be closed all day.

We will re-open Wednesday evening.

Chess Mates Closed Today Due To Blizzard


Due to very dangerous weather and travel conditions, Chess Mates is closed today!

Whether or not we open for tomorrow's Sunday's School is to be determined.

I will closely monitor the situation and send an email tonight.
