West & Zilbermintz Win March G/90

LM Jim West and expert Lev Zilbermintz won our March G/90.

Serge Adelson (U2000) and Schnaider Mendonca (U1600) collected class prizes.

Robert Vinson (1194) defeated Michael O'Connor (1795) in round 2 but in subsequent tourneys games (at other sites) Robert lost to a 608-rated and Michael drew a Master!

• Dilsher Maini won the Scholastic G/30 on March 18th. Maya Arengo was 2nd.
• Andy Chen won Saturday's G/45 and pushed his rating over 1900. LM Jim West, Mauricio Camejo and Ari Minkov tied for 2nd.
• GM Leonid Yudasin won Sunday's G/30.
• NM Arthur Macaspac won yesterday's G/30.

Camejo Wins Blitz Tourney

Mauricio Camejo won the March 18th Sunday Blitz tournament.

Spring Break Camp II 4/23-27

Father Of GM Yudasin Passed Away

The father of GM Yudasin passed away yesterday, due to a heart attack. Leonid was talking to him on the phone when it happened. Very, very sad.
